Brief details of the trip.. sent by Mr.Sambasiva Rao garu.
Guruji along with 61 persons embarked on a Pilgrimage tour in between 08.01.2011 to 16.01.2011.
After reaching Bangalore by train, all the persons boarded Volvo A/C buses for the Tour. The tour was confined to the State of Karnataka.
- On 8th we had darshan, at Ranganadha temple and Animeshambika temples at Srirangapattana ,near Mysore. we halted at Mysore for the night.
- On 9th, we had Darshan of Chamundeswari deviand then visited Mysore maharaja Palace.Thereafter we proceeded to Hassan for night halt.
- 10th We went to Halebidu, famous for Hoyasala architecture and then proceeded to Belur, Chennakesava swamy temple. Belur is famous for Hoyasala architecture and is considered one of the best temples for architecure. From there, we went to "Kalasa" temple in the Chickamagaloor district where dieties are Kalaseswara swamy and Sarvanga sundari. for details pl. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/

- Thereafter, we had been to Horanadu, Mata Annapurneswari, For details pl. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
Horanadu. For night halt we reached Sringeri, which is famous mutt of Sankaracharya.
- On 11th jan, we enjoyed Saradamba temple and Vidya sankar temple. Had blessings from the Peethadipati sri sri sri Bharatithirdha mahaswamy (http://www.sringeri.net/). Further, we have visited the 4 temples on the four sides of Sringeri protecting it.
- On 12th morning we had left for Dharmasthali, where the diety is Manjunatha and proceeded to Kukke Subrahmanya temple.Night we reached Udipi stayed in a hotel.
- On 13th we had Darshan of Sri Krishna at Udupi and proceeded to Kollur Mookambika .On the way we have seen Anegudde Vinayaka temple. In the evening we reached Murudeswar, a picturesque place on the banks of Arabian sea. There is a Shiva temple there. we had a sea bath and darshan.
- On 14th, we have celebrated Kamalamma gari birthday and then proceeded to Gokarna, a famous Shiva Shrine. Story named Bhukailas is associated with it.http://en.wikipedia.org/

- On 14th night, we had started for Madekere and next day we went to TalaKaveri, the birth place of River Kaveri.
- On 16th, we went to a Tibetian Monastry in Kushal Nagar near by and proceeded to Bangalore for return journey.
